@SleekGroyper@damdutch I would welcome Fishback in a debate with actual adults like Collins, Renner, and Donalds. That way, the public can roll their eyes hearing him the same way I do whenever I hear him.
@Suzette_L@damdutch That's true, but I like to look at policies. How would you say he stands out from Renner? He and Renner are the two I'm most likely to vote for.
Which logo design do you like best?
Iβm currently developing a brand identity for FBC. The church asked me to incorporate the imagery of John 15 (the True Vine of Christ) with visible fruit, all framed within the outline of a church window.
Thanks in advance for your vote!
Byron Donalds is not obligated to debate when he's polling over 50 & his opponents are all in the single-digits. These other terrible candidates are looking for handouts to boost their dying campaigns & are going nuts because Byron won't give it to them. Never debate when you're way ahead.
Byron is way ahead for a reason & that is due to everyone knowing he has one of the most Conservative voting records in all of Congress!
Bottom line, Byron has nothing to prove. Maybe the others can do their own little debate to come in 2nd place & collect their participation trophies after they lose so badly this August!
I'm a staunch conservative so I agree with both Renner and Collins on most things.
I'm from the Tampa area, so I've followed Collins since near his beginning. I might know him more than most Floridians because of this. I do worry about his positions on data centers, though. (They're not inherently as bad as people think, but there are better places for them than Florida which already struggles with power capacity). On a weirdly non-political thing, I wish he would wear a suit that actually fit (yes, I know this doesn't matter).
On the other hand, Renner's past anti-gun stance greatly bothers me. Of all anti-gun measures, red flag laws are some of the worst as they blatantly strip away due process. I know what he says now, but I'm a firm believer in following what someone does rather than what they say.
Count me in this camp. What RPOF is doing with this debate is as bad is what Ohio did in circumventing the primary by making an endorsement. Only RPOF is trying to rig an outcome without saying so. This is wrong.
Florida voters deserve a debate.
Instead, the newly announced criteria mean there may not be a debate at all.
Governor Ron DeSantis says there should be a debate. I agree. Florida doesn't need an 'engineered outcome'.
Let's have the debate.

Gov. DeSantis is right.
A debate was promised to Republican voters, and now the rules are being changed to protect a preferred outcome.
Florida Republicans deserve to hear directly from the candidates, compare our records, and decide for themselves who should be the next Governor, not have that decision made for them behind closed doors.
The question is simple: Why won't Byron Donalds debate?

One of the first people to actually give me substantive points on why to vote for either Collins or Renner. Thank you, @marge_knows. I wish most people on X responded like this and not with ad hominem sniping at the other candidates.
@TheCommodore7@melliehcee In my opinion, he is the most honest. He is a former naval commander. A former prosecutor and businessman. He is asking for a moratorium on Data centers and has a tax plan that helps renters and small businesses too.
@marge_knows@melliehcee You are actually the first person to ever actually respond with substance to my request. Thank you very much. It means a lot.
I'm mainly looking at Renner or Collins. What do you think sets him apart from Collins?
American politics and rhetoric was shaped on the debate stage. Think Lincoln-Douglas or Kennedy-Nixon.
But instead of continuing that great American tradition, you just want us to "Cope. Seethe." Well, this undecided republican voter is hearing that from a Donalds surrogate loud and clear.
