At yesterday’s NYC Council Health Committee meeting — where public testimony was prohibited — @lynn4nyc blocked democracy, spit in the face of New Yorkers, and apparently violated Council rules by shutting down the bill sponsor’s valid motion for a hearing.

She did this while nearly 80% of New Yorkers support #RydersLaw — and she did it to follow orders from a corrupt union boss instead of the people she is supposed to serve.

She killed Ryder’s Law on the spot, condemned horses to suffer and die, and put New Yorkers and tourists at risk of more runaway horse disasters.

Lynn Schulman must resign as Health Committee Chair.

Live markets need to be closed for good. The filthy, crowded conditions allow viruses to spread and mutate. They are also hell holes where ducks, chickens, pigeons and other animals endure unimaginable pain, fear, and suffering.
