The harrowing testimonies of the Zomi-Kuki survivors reveal the disturbing truth about the involvement of @manipur_police in the violence against our Zomi-Kuki community. It's deeply disheartening to hear that they merely watched without intervening as the atrocities unfolded, leading to the loss of innocent lives.

During the late hours of last night, the Radical Meitei militants carried out yet another savage assault on the Zomi-Kuki tribal villages of Langza and Chinglangmei. These villages, predominantly inhabited by the Hmar and Kom community, lie approximately 70 kms southeast of Imphal.

In a tragic turn of events, Mr. David Thiek, a courageous Zomi-Kuki Village Volunteer, lost his life in this brutal act, being ruthlessly beheaded. To compound the horror, the Meiteis callously displayed his decapitated head in multiple locations, demonstrating their utter disregard for humanity, especially towards the Zomi-Kuki community.

As if the burning of houses wasn't enough, the Radical Meitei militants also abducted five innocent villagers, intensifying the already devastating impact of their spree of looting, murder, and arson in the Zomi-Kuki villages since May 3, 2023.

Immediate implementation of PRESIDENT'S RULE is essential to address the escalating crisis in Manipur. The current situation demands swift action to restore law and order, protect the lives of citizens, and ensure a peaceful environment for all and Separate administration from Manipur is the only viable solution for ensuring lasting peace.

Meiteis' highly educated @BinaNepram relies on sources that are "unreliable" and has herself fallen victim to "fear mongering." She couldn't answer the question, "On what basis are the Meiteis, with more than 50% of the population, concerned that they will become minorities in Manipur?" From intellectuals to leaders, many Meiteis have seemed to lean on the same source:

In fact, the Naga population skyrocketed comparatively from 12% in 1951 to 24 % in the 2011 census. In contrast, the Kukis population increased from 14 % in 1951 to 15% in 2011.
