@CLoftson85537@gansotonto73 Excommunication is a legal penalty. One is outside the Church, the other is outside the Church and has a penalty attached to it. There’s a reason the Pope lifted the excommunication on the EO but they’re still not considered a part of the Catholic Church.
Remember: It's never over. Every single one of our enemies' victories can be overturned. They can be driven back and defeated. Their monuments can be melted and reforged as shining tributes to the greatness of our leaders and heroes. The first step is to believe.
@GlawkJesus@Roach_VDB@ryanburge Why? St. Paul calls the Church the pillar and bulwark of the truth. Why would the Holy Spirit not protect the Church from error? Individuals can be wrong yes but the Church herself is led into all truth.
@JoshuaBarzon Babel was divine punishment. Pentecost was a reversal of Babel. To call the reformation another babel is not the good thing you think it is.
