We have the highest pork cutout in February today since the PEDV years. Ham Portion of the cutout is about is a 35% higher than the 5 year average. The restocking of the hams in the freezer and the weak dollar should help this persist.

@ngter88 @JohnnyFarmer69 @ElenaNeroba You cannot put live hogs in a bag to save for later. You might have a 2-3 week sales window to push or pull on, but otherwise they gotta go. Right now, that’s a $75 loss per pig. Normal barns are 2,400 hd in Midwest, you do the math 😔
