Worst customer experience ever from @Hertz . No cars available, not willing to honor my reservation at another location (offered to rent to me for an extra $300 for one day!) and won’t cancel my reservation. So much for gold status. 🙄
Called the 1800 number given to me at the counter to cancel my reservation and after spending 20 minutes on the phone they were also unable to cancel my reservation or honor it at another location. Suggested I go to another state to get a car from them. @Hertz
Here’s an idea- take your list of customers w/ reservations for that day & contact them to let them know they do not have a vehicle. Then they don’t spend time- money to get to the location only to leave without a car. The 3 people in the kiosk can actually be useful. @Hertz
Was told that this happens every weekend at this location yet no notification from @Hertz that they had no cars even though they spam the hell out of you with texts and emails about your reservation before pick up. #bebetter
