Two weeks before @SalmanView’s abduction in UAE on 27 September 2024, one of our former team members was forced by Pakistan’s Military Intelligence (MI) to contact Salman @SalmanView and convey a chilling warning:
“Start working with us, otherwise you will not be safe in UAE either”

Salman’s response was clear: he was no longer active on social media and was focusing on his job and career in Sharjah, UAE, where he moved months before 9th May.

Two weeks later, on 27 September 2024, Salman was taken from outside his apartment in Al Nahda, Sharjah, just three days after Junaid Jahangir @M_Junaidd was abducted from Dubai Airport while returning from Umrah.

Salman had chosen to build his professional life in UAE because he believed he could live and work there “peacefully”, away from the persecution of PTI supporters by Pakistani intelligence agencies.

But that sense of safety did not last!!

Salman & Junaid were held at undisclosed locations for around eight months, completely beyond the reach of their families, friends, and lawyers. During this time they endured severe physical and psychological mistreatment during this period.

In May 2025, both were transferred to Al Wathba Prison in Abu Dhabi, where they remain till today.

For Salman’s family, these two years have been especially painful. His father is severely ill and bedridden, suffering from multiple heart and kidney problems. He has spent these years waiting to see his son again.

Salman’s wife remained in UAE for 18 months, living alone and without family support to pursue her husband’s case. During those 18 months, she was allowed only eight video calls with Salman, and even for those brief calls, she had to travel to the prison. There was no physical meeting at all.

Whatever political disputes exist in Pakistan, Salman and Junaid went to the UAE to work, build their careers, and live peacefully. Salman didn’t even have active social media accounts.

We respectfully appeal to the UAE leadership @MohamedBinZayed @HHShkMohd @HamdanMohammed @HHMansour @HHShkDrSultan @LadyVelvet_HFQ and the relevant authorities to look into their cases with compassion and fairness.

Two years have already been taken from their lives and their families. Please allow Salman and Junaid to return to the people who have been waiting for them every single day !!

It gets worse. Bushra Rehman, while sitting in Canada, used her influence with the Pakistani junta to get a Pakistani man kidnapped. After the kidnapping, she was illegally sent the photo of that main chained up in jail - which she kept as a trophy.
Bushra is so insane that she posted that photo yesterday as a way to threaten me. She is so stupid that she did not understand that she was sharing a photo of stark violation of human rights that she enabled. Getting someone kidnapped and tortured would be considered a criminal offense in any civilized country.
If any Canadian citizen is reading this, you should consider reporting this cruel and dangerous person to authorities.

I’ve been instructed to call on the public not to attempt to march or protest nearby Adiala jail on 27 March. I’ve heard from sources that this may be used as an excuse for the establishment to launch a “counter” assault on the jail (Which my father is being held in), which could endanger his life. Please do not give them any reasons for “accidents” to happen to my father during the protest.
