I changed job which increased mileage a lot at same week as heatpump install, so can't gauge true effect of heatpump. Although graph suggests little change overall...
Tbh never did it to save money, just to decarbonise.
@Outdoorbrit1@NeilBoltonRSPL@alex_avoigt Lots of countries have -ve wholesale cost at various times, it's to incentivise generators to switch off.
In the UK some energy retailers have tariffs that reflect this, e.g. you get paid to consume. It's rare though (for now) and more a novelty than an income stream.
