🚨 HE'S STEALING THE MIDTERMS

On July 9, 2026, @realDonaldTrump FIRED the two remaining Democratic commissioners of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) via email.

This leaves the EAC with NO ACTIVE COMMISSIONERS and without a quorum, meaning it cannot perform key functions like certifying voting systems, distributing grants, or updating resources ahead of the 2026 midterms.

The EAC:
- Provides standards for voting equipment to ensure reliability, security, and accessibility.
- Tests and certifies voting equipment nationwide so states can use reliable, federally vetted technology.
- Provides federal funding to states for election improvements, new equipment, security enhancements.
- Maintains the National Mail Voter Registration Form.
- Works to improve voter participation, including for people with disabilities, and supports overall election integrity without directly running elections.

Since @realDonaldTrump knows the SAVE Act is dead in the water, he's rigging the system in his favor and to benefit Republicans.

Trump can now nominate new commissioners (subject to Senate confirmation) more aligned with HIS election views on the very issues the SAVE Act pushed to implement. A Trump appointed loyalist MAGA Election Assistance Commission (EAC) could then issue guidance favoring those SAVE Act priorities for years to come.

Although, the EAC is a four-member bipartisan commission, and under the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA), it explicitly states that no more than two commissioners may belong to the same political party.

THIS IS ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!
And the U.S. Supreme Court gave him this authority.

South of Cyprus, in European waters and just offshore from the UK's RAF Akrotiri Air Base, one of the most important and least discussed segments of Russia's shadow fleet continues to operate.

Since January 2026, we have identified 226 ship-to-ship (STS) transfers in the area, exposing a structured offshore crude oil laundering network in the heart of the Eastern Mediterranean.

At its center is TRITONEA (formerly LEO II, IMO 9243318), a VLCC involved in more than 70 STS operations roughly one-third of all recorded transfers.
This network functions as the laundering layer of Russia's shadow fleet. Russian crude is transferred, blended, split, and redistributed between successive tankers, making its origin progressively harder to trace.

All of this is taking place in European waters, within sight of one of the UK's most strategically important military bases in the Mediterranean.
The real scandal is not only that well over 100 million barrels may have passed through this offshore system. It is that the mechanism is visible, repeated, and structured.

Yet only a handful of the vessels involved is under sanctions while the overwhelming majority continue operating freely.

This network is only one piece of a much larger ecosystem. In a forthcoming thread, we'll break down the different sub-fleets that together form Russia's shadow fleet.
