Absolute lunacy that @MayorofSeattle and @SoundTransit are going to blow the opportunity to make this the gateway into Seattle as a new transit hub with a 4th Ave & Jackson ST3 light rail station. A truly generational mistake
Everett gets a raise! Congratulations to @DSASnoCo for their incredible work in delivering fairer pay for Everett workers, a culmination of the chapter’s commitment to labor organizing. Another minimum wage victory for @DemSocialists in Washington!
So many people visited the @SeattleDSA website after Election Day that it briefly crashed.

@agraybee My dad told me, "I really don't like Trump, but I *really* don't like Harris" and voted Trump.
He also asked if I think Harris is far-left and I laughed. I explained that I consider her a centrist, and he was like, "well, that's just what I hear about her, that's why I asked."
President Biden is right. He should not invoke Taft-Hartley to end the port strike. Dock workers are striking against excessive corporate greed. The shipping industry has made $400 billion in profits since 2020. It's time for dock workers to be treated with respect, not contempt.
@farazamiruddin It's both. I like being where I can lend a small hand with childcare and do light chores, like loading the laundry machine or dishwasher.
But definitely the biggest reason benefit is not having an hour commute each way O_o
@angelodepr@wrongrev Thanks. I'm still interested to know what you mean when you say "left-wing attitudes and practices" that are apparently in The Episcopal Church, and how they would relate to a clergy shortage and general decline
@DavidFish7@redeemed_zoomer@wrongrev well i won't pretend to speak for everyone, but the two priests of my parish believe in it. And everyone congregation I've been in recites the Nicene Creed regularly.
It seems crucial according to https://t.co/VTZu8nlwiD

@angelodepr@wrongrev no actually, I can't. I have my own ideas of what "left-wing attitudes and practices" are, and I don't really see it in The Episcopal Church. I just like going to church (with my wife and kids, btw).
What do *you* mean when you say "left-wing attitudes and practices?"
