Going to regret giving away so much sauce...
I took this store from 0-$500k/month in under 5 months
I recorded the full breakdown, including the part nobody talks about and what I'd do differently.

@heyitsalexP I would love your thoughts on starting a beauty brand (Hair oils, shampoos, face wash, creams etc) in competitive and saturated market should think about product positioning, core messaging and new products launches.
Absolutely ๐ฏ take.
We see meta halo effect everywhere including our offline retail partner sales.
This is how we measure it.
This month we made our Amazon ad budget zero and doubled our meta ad spends.
Result - Meta did similar roas as before.
But Amazon grew by 100%!
This I find is the easiest way to attribute Meta spill over.
P.s: I am a little foolish to do such experiments, you should do it considering what's best for your brand.
@whiskeyatx IMO Videos drive most of the performance for brands in ecommerce, but with statics we can test effectively.
Do you use statics to test angles/messages only or they can help in scaling also?
@dond2c If I want to sell super saturated products on Meta that every big brand is selling ie Rosemary Water and Vitamin C sunscreen, can I sell profitably with low capital or do I need high budgets/funding?
@DTCMidas How to make sure the products we launch selles, I have launched few products that flopped but they are selling good for other brands on amazon and Meta. I have tried using similar angles, positioning and labels also but it didn't work.
The longer I'm in business the more I realize this to be true:
If you want to be a billionaire you have to innovate.
But to be a millionaire you simply need to copy/paste.
Don't even try to copy something that works and put your own twist on it. No twists. Stop twisting.
Just copy what's working. Over time you'll organically discover tweaks that make it your own, but don't lead with the tweaks or you'll screw it all up.
The design, the marketing channel, the pricing, the copywriting, etc. Copy as much as you can without being unethical.
The hardest stuff to copy can't be seen from the outside anyway, so know that it's going to get harder.
But you only make it harder on yourself when you try to make it your own from the outset.
A tidal wave market is always big enough for a ton of clones. The best at executing will win the most.
