REP. BRANDON GILL: This is a much more effeminate version of Beto O'Rourke ... this is somebody who is really obsessed with children ... I think of James Talarico as a barely straight version of Pete Buttigieg
KAYLEIGH McENANY: We know Talarico has a longtime girlfriend and she's very beautiful
Texas oil and gas companies produce billions of gallons of toxic wastewater every year and Texas doesn't even require them to report how much.
That wastewater gets injected underground. And it's been leaking into our groundwater.
In Midland, a company contaminated a city water supply back in 2007. The Railroad Commission ordered a cleanup, then the company filed bankruptcy and walked away. The cleanup is still going on, almost 20 years later.
This isn't a one-off, Texas has more than 11,000 abandoned wells still waiting to be plugged, many of them leaking into the ground beneath our feet.
Once groundwater is contaminated, it's often too expensive to ever clean up. This is West Texas's drinking water and farmland we're talking about.
I've spent 25+ years as an engineer in this industry, I know what it takes to actually hold operators accountable and I know what happens when nobody does.
Trump is so fucking dumb that when he heard that semiconductors use "transistors," he thought they said "transgenders."
That's how fucking stupid our President is.
@pjakcoker_patty@ChristianForTX The majority of his campaign contributions come from the oil and gas companies he's supposed to regulate. I actually agree with a lot of his pro-data center arguments, but no, he is not trustworthy. #TxEnergy#TxLege
@txrrc@ChristianForTX Q: Has @txrrc resisted changing its name?
A: Yes. Conservative lawmakers, heavily backed by the oil & gas industry, have repeatedly blocked efforts by the Sunset Advisory Commission to rename the agency (e.g., to "Texas Energy Resources Commission").

@cec164@JohnCornyn@dallasnews They weren't short sighted. Kelcy/ETP canceled contracts claiming force majeure and sold the gas for an obscene amount on the spot market. #TxEnergy
The US loves to boast about how wealthy it is, but its wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few oligarchs.
US oligarchs are so insanely rich that they make average wealth seem very high.
But *median* wealth in the US is lower than in Slovenia & Portugal, and half of Italy's

Listen to why oilfield expert and former Republican primary candidate Hawk Dunlap is crossing the aisle to support our campaign for the RRC. This race isn't about party lines, it is about chaos vs. competence.
