@DrJackKruse How do we reconcile a preference for warmer lights / less blue when Ott found so many issues with pinker lights and pink/rose tinted glass or plastic? Seems like we're fucked either way with artificial lights
Why do we sleep? What happens in our cells that make us feel the need to go to bed?
New study in flies showing that as energy flows with more energy resistance (รฉR) in our mitochondria--producing "reductive stress"-- the pressure to sleep increases
Manipulating mitochondrial fusion and fission dynamics also changed the flies' daily need for sleep, connecting mitochondrial energetics and dynamics with sleep behavior

@MakisMD@X@MakisMD Is there ideal dosing regimen for fenben/meben or indications for one dosing regimen over another?
Lower dose daily?
Higher dose daily?
Higher dose 3x/weekly?
When itโs 3x/weekly is it consecutive days like its use for worms or non-consecutive days like a M/W/F
"As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master."

John Ott seemed to notice some of the worst effects on individuals whose main exposure to ambient lighting was with warmer/pinker colour temperatures or filtered through rose tinted sunglasses. Not sure how to reconcile that at present with research on benefits of red & IR exposure.
Any individual wavelength will cause problems, especially as the intensity increases ...and if an individual wavelength causes toxic effects alone, but the same intensity of that wavelength has an absence of toxic effects when other parts of the spectrum are present, is it the wavelength that's toxic or the imbalance?
