Hackers ripped down a Flock camera above a roadway, made a near-complete copy of the data it stored inside, and shared the files with 404 Media and Wired

A Flock Safety license-plate reader pulled from a public roadway and examined jointly by 404 Media and WIRED on September 16, 2026, showed on-device software that detects vehicles, plates, bicycles and people, records where a person sits in the frame, and attaches a confidence score.

A typical passing car generated about 28 photographs and some produced more than 100; cropped images were sent to the company over cellular links while plate reading itself appeared to occur on Flock servers.

The company says the cameras do not perform facial recognition, yet the same files contained an encryption key stored in the clear on an unencrypted “media” partition.

That key unlocked video of thousands of detections. Twenty-one days of logs captured roughly 50,200 vehicles and 1.6 million images.

Detectors also treated bumper stickers and, in one test, an American-flag patch as if they were license plates.

Flock markets the cameras as on-device encrypted crime-fighting tools that cities can share across a growing network.

Separate August 2026 WIRED reporting described the company’s OS Investigate software linking camera records with police files and commercial data.

Person detection is documented even if face identification is not.

Each additional pole adds another local copy of the same store sitting over public roads.

Drivers and cyclists have no way to opt out of streets they already use, and no federal automatic license-plate reader statute governs the hardware.

🚨 ISLAMIC JIHADIS WERE PREPARING TO SLAUGHTER AMERICANS ON ELECTION DAY - BUT WE STILL AREN'T BEING TOLD THE WHOLE STORY.

Nazira Haji Zada, a 47-year-old Afghan national living in Fort Worth, Texas, has now been removed from the United States after conceding in federal proceedings that she is an alien terrorist.

Her son, Abdullah Haji Zada, and her son-in-law, Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, were involved in an ISIS-inspired plot to carry out a mass-casualty attack on or around Election Day 2024.

According to federal authorities, Tawhedi admitted they intended to obtain two AK-47 rifles, 500 rounds of ammunition, and 10 magazines for the attack.

They actually moved toward execution.

The men were arrested after purchasing firearms and ammunition from an undercover FBI employee. Abdullah, only 17 when arrested, later pleaded guilty as an adult and was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison. Tawhedi pleaded guilty to terrorism-related offenses and is awaiting sentencing.

And look at what was happening inside the family.

Federal authorities say the family began selling off furniture, computers, a phone, and both vehicles. Nazira signed a contract to sell the family home. They purchased one-way tickets to Kabul shortly before Election Day for family members, while Abdullah and Tawhedi stayed behind.

So one part of the family was preparing to leave America while two jihadis were preparing for a mass-Islamic attack in America.

And now the matriarch herself has been expelled after conceding that she qualified as an alien terrorist.

But here is something almost nobody is asking:

WHAT MOSQUE DID THIS FAMILY ATTEND?

I have searched the government disclosures and major media coverage and have yet to find anyone publicly identifying it.

We are told about the guns and ammunition. They are even telling us about ISIS. (THE ISLAMIC STATE). They detail the plane tickets and the family's preparations.

But where did they worship? Who else was in their orbit?

Who were their friends?
Who did they pray with?
Who were their religious influences?
Who knew them in the community?
What were they reading and watching?
Who helped them come to America?
Did anyone around them report anything?
Did anyone notice they were preparing to slaughter us??

Were other people in contact with them investigated and cleared or are others still being investigated?

And once again, we are given a label that can end the conversation:

ISIS. Yes, ISIS. But what does ISIS itself say motivates it?

ISIS does not present itself as a secular terrorist organization that just happens to have an Arabic name. It explicitly claims Islam as the basis for its ideology. It invokes Allah, the Qur'an, Muhammad, jihad, Islamic jurisprudence, the caliphate, and Sharia to justify its worldview and violence.

Its objective has not been hidden either: establish and expand an Islamic caliphate governed by Sharia, demand allegiance to its caliph, and wage jihad against those it defines as its enemies.

Calling something "ISIS-inspired" should be the beginning of the investigation into the ideology, not the end of it.

And there is another extraordinary part of this story.

The government had a specialized Alien Terrorist Removal Court sitting on the books since 1996, and this was the FIRST TIME IT WAS EVER USED.

Thirty years. Congress created a court specifically to remove alien terrorists, and administration after administration never brought a single case before it.

We stopped this attack. That is not enough. Americans need to know the rest of the story - the ISLAMIC part!
