For those of us who spent 2 yrs working to save BV its sad that its demolition has begun.
The campaign was successful halting work for 6 months whilst a buyer was found but failed because of Covid and nobody from the dog world appreciating the massive potential of Belle Vue😡😢
@spartans53 There was only one home of racing thus only one time needed to lose it though.
Enough noise was made about the position but the sport had deaf ears.
@johnbayliss5353@PaulBlueAndWhi1 There was an alternative outcome when we secured a 6 month break for a buyer to be found. The problem was that having secured this option, those who had previously made promises suddenly lost their voices. The sport of Greyhound racing has a lot to explain.
@Greyhoundstar The news that ARC has purchased another track really is a stern kick in the goolies for those of us linked to Belle Vue. Words fail me frankly.
@DavidJMitch Having been in charge of Belle Vue, it's difficult to read anything 'positive' concerning ARC. The fact the old lady has gone still hurts every day. We tried but were badly let down😔
Our team achieved so much inc being open for an extra year & engineering a chance to buy the stadium, but with the devastation of Covid, ultimately our efforts have ended in disappointment.
Our thanks to everyone who supported us.

Only THREE MPs have signed our Early Day Motion in Parliament to Save Belle Vue.
We are exhausting every option but time is almost up.
Please, contact your local MP and ask them to sign it before it's too late.
