@plashmar I too am from Barking. There was never โmassesโ from Ireland in either Barking or Dagenham. There were a couple of Irish folk, but nothing noticeable. The closest, largest Irish population was in Seven Kings, which is in Redbridge.
@iiwasinthee212 Fuck them. Cancel all Jamaican visas to the UK, all foreign aid that they receive from the UK and immediate deportation for all Jamaicans in UK prisons. A line in the sand moment for the UK that could be of benefit.
@kanch7@LBC@BenKentish Itโs not so much that they are neurodivergent, more a case of them playing up to that label. They are in fact poorly brought up, thick gypsies.
@VinnieSull1van@BelfastBooks@Lost___London@PubHistoryTours An excellent documentary. The accents have gone and the tenements they lived in and the disused buildings they played in are now luxury flats. However, they lead hard, gritty lives. Not really the โgood old daysโ at all.
@_HenryBolton Iโve no sympathy for him being criticised for his dress, as, when he was CO of the Grenadier Guards in Nad e Ali in 09, he whinged at my FST for wearing โhalf trackโ (DPM tops and dessy bottoms). Yes, I am that petty and can hold a grudge!
