@buriedbyscones @lentiilsoup @JStein_WaPo @DaniDougPost It’s just confusing to me that we’re now means testing the present and the past. Two people with the same income and same debt will get different forgiveness because one’s parents were poorer than the other.
@thedollop The lisp thing is a huge urban legend, btw. Castilian Spanish just has different sounds for z/c and s (distinción). A lot of regional accents have lost that difference and mashed them all together either as an s (seseo, predominant in Latín America) or as th (ceceo)
@feraljokes Like, between renting a suitable location, modifying it to fire code standards, and getting enough equipment to produce volume we’re talking a half million on the low end. And you have to track alcohol produced down to the mL for the Feds
@vanessacarlu1 Wow. Are you okay? I care about what our president does, not what he’s going through. I’m a latino primary caregiver with a J.D. but sure, let’s go with “lazy piece of shit” cause I think Biden’s policies are too little, too late.
@Its_MamaLuigi @Chinchillazllla@feraljokes The shooting, lighting, and editing techniques are all based around the unlifelike (unheimlich) nature of 24FPS. Nobody has really cracked what a high frame rate film language will look like, but TV was already high frame rate so these frame hacks just remind us of that
@Chinchillazllla@feraljokes It’s more lifelike but the entire language of film is designed around the unlifelike qualities of 24FPS. We will eventually move to higher frame rates but the way it is shot, lit, and edited will be totally different. Think single vs multicam sitcoms for a very rough example
