@HefinR I’ve looked at it a few times. You can’t correlate TB with emissions as if a farmer gets TB there carbon footprint goes down in the first year due to a shrinking herd size. However extra purchased stock or always running at a higher young stock level will harm. An extra 10% =~1%

@HefinR @PaulWoldfarm Not sure on the scope of the model, if an NZ research shows NZ is best and using it to sell more milk it’s hard to say there’s not a vested interest. However I don’t know where they got the data from. Why would Ireland be worse than NZ?

@BakersofHP @HefinR @first_milk @AlltechECO2 @TudorCath @AlltechUK @Alltech @ThisIsYelo Complicated question but for example Round up ready crops in theory could have a lower CFP in the short term, but the destruction of soil microbes and other environmental challenges make this unsustainable. If you have a low CFP at the cost of an external factor it wont last
