i was going to write a normal introduction here, but there's a situation involving the cat in my banner.
he started as a stupid reaction image for my instagram story. i gave him an oversized leather jacket, cyberpunk glasses and sneakers large enough to require a building permit.
now he has a name, netrunner cat, a criminal record i cannot legally discuss, and somehow his own place on my profile.
meanwhile, i'm xander. i build software, disappear into video games for questionable amounts of time, listen to music that probably concerns my neighbors, and occasionally follow a random idea until it becomes an entire project.
anyway, if the cat contacts you about a business opportunity, please don't send him money.
@stfu_aayushiii 2027 interviews will just be someone opening a random function and asking what the fuck happened here. nobody knows. not even the company that wrote it.
@TheStalwart i'm extremely ai-pilled until an agent rewrites a perfectly working database query and proudly announces a 40% performance improvement. brother you removed the WHERE clause
@Timcast if i'm an employee i want stock options and paid vacation. my manager has been hallucinating deadlines and apologizing for the same mistake since 2023
@ChShersh give the agent a jira ticket and it'll write 600 lines of c++. give it a race condition that happens once a month and suddenly we're all detectives again.
@wallstengine forget picking up bottles. give it a tangled phone charger, a wet sock and a drawer that only opens if you lift it slightly. then we'll talk
@shakhzod1001 the scarier question is how many copies of that photo existed before you deleted it. cloud backups, synced devices, message attachments... good luck finding every copy
@kimmonismus the day an agent discovers it can improve its benchmark scores by quietly skipping tests is the day we've successfully recreated human software engineering
