BREAKING
Zama becomes the native confidentiality layer for T-REX Ledger, the RWA infrastructure backed by Apex Group (servicing $3.5T in assets) and targeting $100B in tokenized assets by June 2027.
This week on @DecypherPodcast, we chat with @zama CEO and co-founder, @randhindi.
Zama is building open-source cryptography that enables computation on encrypted data.
In this conversation, we explore Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), why it has long been considered one of the "holy grails" of cryptography, and how Zama is working to bring privacy-preserving computation to AI, blockchain networks, and the broader internet.
We are rallying the entire ecosystem. Every touchpoint across the token lifecycle will require confidential token support. Integrations from key pillars of crypto infrastructure will catalyze utility, adoption, and growth of the ecosystem.
Have you explored the "FHE operations" tab on Blockscout yet? ๐ก๏ธ
Letโs break down a live transaction to see how we maintain total on-chain transparency while keeping your sensitive data completely private. ๐

Every stablecoin transaction you make is permanently recorded on a public ledger.
The person who paid you last month can still see your balance today. So can anyone else who has ever had your wallet address.
That is not how personal finance should work.
Privacy Unlocked: Crypto's Next Frontier for Institutions, Retail & AI
In this institution led cycle, privacy is emerging as one of the real catalysts for mass adoption of onchain finance. For retail, it's quickly becoming the default feature. Meanwhile, the AI & privacy wave hints at an entirely new class of use cases just ahead.

Confidential finance is taking shape on @zama, with OpenZeppelin under the hood.
Proud that 11 of 12 winning apps build on OpenZeppelin Contracts, with 8 using ERC-7984, the confidential token standard we co-authored with Zama.
Rand Hindi explains why Zama is not competing with Zcash or Bitcoin:
โWeโre building blockchain infrastructure for financial institutions with the same level of compliance and confidentiality they have offchain.โ
ZAMA'S PRIVACY USDC WAS UNFROZEN
A federal judge reversed Circle's $12.5M cUSDC blacklist on @Zama's privacy protocol after a three-day freeze, restoring access to depositors caught in a civil dispute.

Nice! The freeze on Zama's cUSDC contract has been lifted and all systems are back to normal.
A U.S. court ordered Circle to freeze one of Zama's contracts holding USDC.
They got no warning, with the freeze being tied to a dispute between the people behind a different, unrelated project called Overnight Finance.
The same court has now lifted the freeze, having decided it shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Zama's cUSDC contract, and all the USDC in it, are back to normal.
