[Urgent Attention Needed] Dear World, there are extreme human right violations suffered by @ImranKhanPTI and his wife Bushra Imran in Pakistan’s Adiala Jail.

Imran Khan’s message from yesterday (see graphics below) is extremely concerning. Bushra Imran suffered an electric shock recently and also has wounds after getting bitten by insects in her cell. She is given muddy water to shower. Family is not allowed to visit and her meeting with Imran Khan also are cancelled.

This mental torture on both is gross violations of jail rights and human rights.

My father, former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has now spent over 700 days in prison - held in solitary confinement. He is denied access to his lawyers, not allowed visits from his family, fully cut off from us (his children), and even his personal doctor is refused entry. This is not justice. It is a deliberate attempt to isolate and break a man who stood for rule of law, democracy, and Pakistan.

Imran Khan is Isolated!

Over the past 8 months, Imran Khan has been subjected to increasing isolation in Adiala Jail.

1. Imran Khan has not been allowed to speak to his sons for the past six months, despite jail regulations allowing weekly calls. This continued denial is both inhumane and unlawful.
2. Over the past month, the jail authorities have refused to provide him the books we submitted , a clear attempt to cut him off intellectually and spiritually.
3. For the past eight months, as head of the largest political party in Pakistan, Imran Khan has been barred from meeting his party members. He is being denied his constitutional right to political consultation and leadership.
4. Imran Khan has been denied proper access to his legal team for several weeks. On Tuesday, July 1, his lawyer Zaheer Abbas was granted only 95 seconds to consult with him , an utter mockery of due process.
5. Our family has been blocked from meeting Imran Khan for several months. For the past three months, my sisters and I arrive at Adiala, only to be stopped several kilometers before the prison by Punjab Police. Volunteers stand with us at these roadblocks. We then walk 1.5 km to the next blockade. After hours of waiting, only Dr. Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi are allowed to briefly see their brother. What used to be a half-hour visit has now been reduced to just 15 minutes , for the past four Tuesdays.
6. For the past ten months, Imran Khan’s doctors ( Dr. Faisal Sultan and Dr. Aasim Yusaf ) have not been allowed to examine him. His health is being put at risk by the continued denial of essential medical care.

We have been told that this extreme isolation is being enforced on the instructions of Maryam Nawaz, not the colonel controlling Adiala. The jail lies in Punjab, where a 17-seat PML-N government is so fearful that it has blocked all access to Imran Khan. They fear any information going in or coming out.

Insha’Allah, we will continue to bring out Imran Khan’s complete message until he is freed from this illegal incarceration and once again leads his people.

Urgent - Military led Regime in Pakistan is violating Imran Khan’s jail rights and human rights; they shall be condemned for torture against former Prime Minister

1) He is being held in solitary confinement 22–23 hours daily

2) He has lost a significant amount of weight very fast

3) His personal doctors not allowed to visit and he is not allowed to talk to his sons regularly

4) Books not being provided per his wishes
