@thameswater there has been damage to the rear of our property as a result of works carried out on the pickoff footpath. How will you rectify this. We were not informed of the works in advance or at the time.
@easyJet@easyJet_press We are now going to be taking off on the 1.9.22 rather than 31.8.22 : full refund required for this leg of the journey. Supposed to depart 21.05. 23:30 and still not closed the airplane door. This flight will be leaving after midnight.
@easyJet Nantes to LGW 2.5hr delay. Compensation? All we have been given is a €4.50 food voucher and not allowed past security til 21.30 so no open food places .. what compensation will you provide??
@dannyjnwong@RCoANews From a consumer rights point of view, I doubt you can refuse a refund as it would "divert funds away from delivery". Candidates shouldn't cover the cost of the college's mistakes.
While the board of trustees debated the refund of exam fees extensively, I wonder if they sought advice about whether this decision was legal? The RCoA is a charity and I wonder if exam fees are considered proceeds from sales of goods/services or if they are considered donations.
@dannyjnwong Yes please. Trying to battle the revision for the next attempt so can’t donate too much headspace. If there’s something you think they can do to realise the error of this decision then this would be great 👍🏽
@Assoc_Anaes hi there the Rcoa has decided not to provide refunds for the most recent sitting of the final FRCA in which the entire CRQ malfunctioned and was not marked.
I feel I am entitled to a refund in addition to the compensation of a further free sitting.
Help?
@dannyjnwong@RCoANews I think half of the problem is fear about speaking up. I’ve written an email and tweeted and worrying about black listing. It’s clearly illegal. paid for something I didn’t get and now being told that can’t have a refund because they need the money to improve the service
Just been told by an anesthetic trainee colleague that @RCoANews will not refund exam fees for a previous sitting of the FRCA exam that suffered catastrophic errors during its delivery. Surely failure to deliver goods and services that have been paid for = refund?
@RCoANews@RCoAPresident we shouldn’t be paying for your mistakes. You take responsibility. @TestReachOnline@RCoANews “To offer refunds in addition to covering the cost of additional attempts… would divert funding away from exam delivery and enacting improvements” #criminal
@Anaes_Trainees from CRQ onwards, it has been incredibly stressful. Life has been put on hold for an exam that was written off. The cost of this exam is not simply £520 to sit it; extra nursery fees, the courses, books, weekends away from family & friends, stress. What a mess.
@thameswater Hi, we are the neighbours at the adjoining property. Also flooded & smelled like a mens urinal. 1yr old child in the house - it’s unacceptable + hazardous to health that a NE has not been sent to properly assess the cause of the flooding and communicate openly. Please sort.
@Ryanair@STN_Airport@ryanairflights unbelievable delay...apparently our plane was at gate but took people to Girona?! leaving all the Palma lot stranded
