After recent events around the $NIGHT proposal on @MinswapDEX, we want to share a clear update with our community and with MIN holders.

Even though the correct option ultimately passed in the vote, Iagon has decided to move ~90% of its LP from Minswap to @wingriderscom.

This isn’t primarily about LP rewards or trading fees. Our priorities as a protocol are:

1) to control the voting rights attached to our $ADA,

2) to control the staking rewards that flow from that ADA, and

3) to have a direct say in Catalyst voting and governance that affects our ecosystem.

After speaking with multiple DEXs, WingRiders is willing and technically able to provide us with this level of control and alignment at this moment. That is why we chose them.

So why move if the “right” option won?

Because for us, the trust relationship between LPs and the DAO has been fundamentally damaged. In our view:

The vote should never have been held in the first place on value that was economically tied to LP positions.

It introduced unnecessary legal and governance risk not only for LPs, but also for Minswap as a protocol and DAO.

A DAO must be the first to respect its own Operating Agreement and governance framework, especially around non-custodial liquidity and beneficial ownership.

Once a DAO signals that it is willing to test the boundaries of what belongs to LPs vs what belongs to the DAO/Treasury, even if the community later corrects course, that uncertainty doesn’t just disappear. For a project like Iagon that operates under its own legal and fiduciary responsibilities to token holders and delegators, that is not a risk we can ignore.

To be clear:

1) We respect many individuals in the Minswap community and appreciate the support we’ve had there.

2) This is a risk and governance decision.

We will still keep a small amount of liquidity on Minswap so that users who prefer it can continue to interact with $IAG there, but our primary liquidity, governance and ADA exposure will be moving to WingRiders.

Our responsibility is first and foremost to IAG holders, LSPO delegators, and our broader community. That means:

1) ensuring we retain control over our ADA and the rights attached to it,

2) avoiding environments where the line between LP property and DAO property can be blurred by governance, and

3) partnering with platforms whose structures and actions are fully aligned with that.

We’ll be migrating liquidity soon.
