Meanwhile in the Aux Gym Block 0 and Block 1 football guys with @_Maruca49
75 9th and 10th graders…10 trap bars, dumbbells and plates.
Nick has the MUCH tougher job on the staff 🤣🤣🤣 @StJamesFB
Great first “official day” of 🏈! Adding in a few new twists that we will use in season. Transitioning some technology changes…
A1 Loaded Jumps with 20% of squat max (tracking peak power to use as a guide in fatigue as season moves on)
A2 vertical jump
A3 Lying hamstring iso
A4 Spring Ankle
B1 back squat (touch and go to continue to work on depth…) 4x4 at 85%, mean floor of .35 PIVot peak of 1.00
B2 Loaded DB jumps 50-60% or A2
@StJamesFB
Post Day 1 🏈 camp lift…finished with a little 3 broad jumps to cover 30 feet competition…using @pntrack gauntlet
This is after practice and squats…🐇🐇🐇
How far these guys have come since March 4th is beyond belief!! @StJamesFB@St_James_Sharks
Best practices update: turns out with 70 kids in the room that people still almost step on, step into the beam etc.
Found out that the hallway as a designated location improved flow.
Great thing about the @DashrMPS is it’s smaller than a cell phone and wireless. So I was able to move all three stations myself in less than a minute!! @SimpliFaster
New vertical and loaded jump set up. @DashrMPS no need to write anything down…scroll name on the app just like we do sprints. Doing a baseline vert in our first tier and then going to 50% decrement DB jumps in second tier.
Video explains my self developed reasoning for all the cones. Those are not required 🤣🏈 @StJamesFB
Love a good #FamilyFriday!
This pic is from our most recent NATCON, and it’s our annual McKenna Hat Pic. Meeting John McKenna is one of my first NHSSCA memories, along with meeting Garrett and Nick at our first NE Regional, which John hosted.
