🗣 MOOD WORDS 🗣
A nice take-home from the @ALTIS Need For Speed course.
‘LIFT’ is a personal favourite. Use it regularly when trying to promote front-side mechanics/reduce back-side bias.

⚡️AGILITY DEV. IN THE GYM⚡️
Jab step regression.
💥 Applying FORCE in the right direction in order to create HORIZONTAL PROJECTION.
💥 Highlights the importance of the TRUNK when changing direction.
🗣 ‘Coil the spring’ ➡️ ‘Release the spring’
🏉 Rugby Fit 🏉
Used these for a while now, either as a post-session ‘top-up’, or as a way to build capacity during late-stage RTP.
Disassociating the upper/lower body happens all the time in rugby.
Nice way to isolate it here. Harder than it looks. 🥵
🚨CROSSOVER STEP🚨
Seriously under-coached movement.
Happens all the time in field sports, especially when defending, yet never seems to get the attention that linear acceleration or sprinting does. 🤔
Attempted to make a simple technical model for it 👇
🥊 JAB STEP 🥊
Attacking scenarios. Good weapon to have. Similar to the crossover, don’t see it coached much.
Attempted to highlight some key coaching points/positions 👇
Incredibly fortunate to have worked with some great movers 🕺
