Our vibe solutioning platform @rocketdotnew just raised $15M in Seed funding co-led by @SalesforceVC and @accelindia with @scaletogether participating! 400K+ users, 500K+ apps shipped in 15 weeks. Vibe Solutioning is changing how apps are built. ๐
400,000 builders across 180 countries are shipping with @rocketdotnew today.
But let me rewind. Building from Surat. Every VC pitch had the same rhythm: raised eyebrows at my accent, a quick background check that found too much "desi" to build conviction. That pause. "Can you really build global?" They never said it directly. They didn't have to.
https://t.co/WoxAFrNR34 just took its biggest leap yet: a redesigned platform that delivers full production-ready apps from just one prompt. From launchpad to mission control.
Folks have started using my TSConfig cheat sheet as a straight-up alternative to tsc --init.
So, by popular demand, here's a video walkthrough of all the options.

Long Polling, WebSockets, and Server-Sent Events (SSE) are different techniques to implement real-time communication between a client (typically a web browser) and a server. These techniques enable the server to push data to the client without the client needing to request it explicitly. Here's an overview of each method and their differences.
๐ญ. ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด ๐ฃ๐ผ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด
is a technique where the client sends a request to the server, and the server holds the connection open until it has new data to send to the client. Once the server sends the data, the connection is closed, and the client immediately sends another request to "poll" for new data. This process repeats indefinitely, creating a near-real-time communication channel.
The ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ of long pooling are that it works with existing infrastructure and is compatible with all browsers. The disadvantages are that it is less efficient than other methods due to the overhead of opening and closing multiple connections.
This method should be used when we don't need real-time updates, e.g., when you want to fetch several users for a subscriber count on some pageโpushing the data after each sign-up would be chaos.
๐ฎ. ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฒ๐๐
are a protocol that enables full-duplex, bidirectional communication between a client and a server over a single, long-lived connection. This allows for real-time communication with lower latency and overhead compared to Long Polling. When a WebSocket connection is opened, the client and server can send data in both directions in real-time.
The ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ of WebSockets are low latency and support for bi-directional communication. The ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ are that it requires a specific WebSocket server implementation, and older browsers don't support it.
An excellent example of using WebSockets is chat applications or data visualization dashboards or maps, where we must show real-time data values.
๐ฏ. ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ-๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ (๐ฆ๐ฆ๐)
is a technique that uses the standard HTTP protocol to push real-time updates from the server to the client. It works by keeping an HTTP connection open and streaming updates as they occur. Unlike WebSockets, SSE is unidirectional, meaning the client cannot send messages back to the server.
The ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ of SSE is that it is built on top of the standard HTTP protocol, making it easy to implement. It is more efficient than long polling and is supported by most browsers. ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ฑ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ are that it is unidirectional, does not keep sending messages from the client to the server, and doesn't support binary data.
The best way to use Server-Sent events is when sending data from client to server is unnecessary. E.g., some status updates or push notifications.

A strategy for thinking clearly:
Rather than trying to be right, assume you are wrong and try to be less wrong.
Trying to be right has a tendency to devolve into protecting your beliefs.
Trying to be less wrong has a tendency to prompt more questions and intellectual humility.
