It's just not unreasonable to pay someone $72.5 an hour that has the talent to build tall buildings. Having 50k to live after a new market apartment seems like an arm's length transaction. @dravidavastgote @TrueSlazac Yeah you're right that it's a bit more complicated, these are the available ones. the median available apartment is 4k. the median paid rent is 1600. Anyone specialized on working on tall buildings that would need to move there, would pay median or average market, around 4k.

@zobotics Something like this, small runs printing is the winner, high runs a lathe wins. The time efficiency curve also looks a lot like this, but with the early small run cnc steeper. The actual inflection depends on the part.

@DevinGriff19897 @TrueSlazac they're probably aware of the 2nd order consequences and use it to promote 99 unit buildings because it fits a nice 10-16 story range. the danger scales for workers as the buildings get taller so they get compensated more. avg starting is $35 i think for the 99 unit jobs

@skenzyme @gak_pdx @BabyBear2115 glass fiber reinforced PA is more abrasive than PA so probably 2000ish total shots ballparked, carbon fiber reinforced probably 4000ish shots. It would be dependent on variables like blend and die shape. Die machining is almost lost knowledge in america, GL!

@gak_pdx @BabyBear2115 aluminum dies need to be reconstituted rather often compared to tool steel. You can probably get 10k-20k parts that qc well out of an aluminum die. Maintenance cost will be 10x more expensive per part. Aluminum is about 50% cheaper, and 50% of the delivery time of tool steel.
