@Pngfund@ErnestWongBWM Yes, we are already seeing the short term effects of this. However, in the long run, it’s difficult to predict the trajectory of the economy.
@invest091@Pngfund@ErnestWongBWM I can’t wait for the deep dive either. Pngfund is an incredible writer and does great analysis. I don’t own $BKNG but I did go to Burger King a few days ago.
@Pngfund @DTF_Capital Very true. Not enough people realized this back in ‘96 when I first started trading.
Side note: I’m a huge fan, can I please have an autograph?
@Pngfund@Invesquotes Yes, although if you understand market forces and the fundamentals of stock option backdating, this information may not be as relevant. It’s still a good explanation for those trying to get into investing though.
@Pngfund From my years of experience, trust me when I say that the market never forgets. There are market forces in the background that encapsulate everything from sudden fluctuations to long term effects.
@Pngfund@MnkeDaniel You're completely right, I was simply analyzing it based on standard economic theory which is known not to hold in the real world due to assumptions that are not necessarily met.
@Pngfund@MnkeDaniel Actually, this is not true. When Nike releases their new designs for 2025, they will see a surge in earnings growth due to the brand name of the product, thus driving the stock price up. However, this is under the assumption that demand for Nike shoes are inelastic.
@Pngfund It’s not Sinegal, it’s Senegal. In 2003, Jeff Bezos visited Senegal and saw the local businesses running on the scale economies shared model. He took inspiration from this and implemented it to Amazon.
