Clearly they can get some department to sponsor them and then find a 3pao and take the appropriate year or two grind through the checklists so they can properly host a file server and a few tools on some app servers. It’s only right.

They’ve found so much money certainly they can divert it to the grift of a few million necessary for the proper compliance. How can we accept the results if they haven’t completed the same ceremonial rituals the rest of us had to do to embalm our tech with the protections that have proven so apt at preventing anything bad in the past few years.

It’s just common sense.

How to fix the Crowdstrike thing:

1. Boot Windows into safe mode
2. Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike
3. Delete C-00000291*.sys
4. Repeat for every host in your enterprise network including remote workers
5. If you're using BitLocker jump off a bridge
