In class the other day, we discussed the 6 different principles of special education. We all got to define what each principle meant, and it helped us understand how each principle is important and different. I really enjoyed getting to know about this more! #EDUC200#04Sp22
@laurenand_dukes Hey Lauren! I never thought about how many groups of people influence education in this world. I find it very important to know who all shapes the curriculum of education now and for future students. #Educ200#04Sp22
In class we learned about the seven forms of bias found in textbooks. I thought it was interesting to learn about all 7 of these because I didn’t know about most of them. It really opened my eyes about how bias things still are today that we can be blind to. #EDUC200#04Sp22
@JBritton2025 Hi Jane!! I understand why 3rd grade is the most important because that’s where students really begin to learn and that’s when SOL testing begins as well. Also, for me 3rd grade is when we learned times tables which is important to know for future learning. #EDUC200#04Sp22
@brenna_staley Hey Brenna! I’m glad we went over apa format in class, because throughout school I never used apa format so it was good to be aware of how to do it. I liked how we learned apa in a form of a sandwich, it helped me understand it much more! #EDUC200#04sp22
@TrianaStapleton Doing this activity opened my eyes about history in educators that I didn’t even know their names until this class. I never look into the history of topics or professions at all so it was interesting to learn about in class! #EDUC200#04Sp22
@laurenand_dukes hi lauren! this class was very eye opening to me as well because it helped me realize that people who are less privileged then other people in society are treated poorly because of the way they appear. #EDUC200#04Sp22
@rejas_ea This was a fun class activity! I love getting to know about people’s history behind their names and everyone’s stories were different and unique!
