In the last few weeks there have been serious and concerning developments regarding my sons’ father, Imran Khan’s treatment in prison. The Pakistan authorities have stopped all visits to him by his family and his lawyers. They have also postponed all court hearings. In addition to cutting off in- person visits, and in defiance of a court order, his weekly calls to his sons, Sulaiman and Kasim Khan, who are British and who live in London, were stopped on 10th September. We have received reports that the authorities have now turned off the lights and electricity in his cell and he is no longer allowed to leave his cell at any time. The jail cook has been sent on leave. He is now completely isolated, in solitary confinement, literally in the dark, with no contact with the outside world. His lawyers are concerned about his safety and well-being.

These actions come in the context of ongoing targeting of Imran’s family, as well as his party (PTI) members and supporters in an attempt to silence them and all political opposition in Pakistan. Imran’s nephew, Hassan Niazi, a civilian, has been detained in military custody since August 2023. More recently, Imran Khan’s sisters, Uzma and Aleema Khan, who have continued to speak out on his behalf, have also been arrested as they made their way peacefully to a demonstration and they are currently being held in jail, despite there being no proper or lawful basis for their imprisonment.

In June this year the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention found that Imran is unlawfully and arbitrarily detained and called for his immediate release.

 As a matter of urgency , we are calling for Imran Khan’s release, and for the release of his sisters and nephew as well as for his sons’ contact with their father to be re-established, so that they may have assurance first-hand that he is well and not being mistreated.

How does requesting the IMF to demand an investigation into the election dent Pakistan's credibility? Where was our country's credibility when the elections were massively rigged? Any loan that Pakistan takes will be repaid by its people. Should we permit an illegitimate government to make decisions on our behalf? Does that government truly have a mandate from the people? Why are we fooling ourselves?
Our future decisions should only be taken by govt elected by the people of Pakistan.

The involvement of the state bureaucracy in rigging in Pakistan is beginning to be exposed. The chief commissioner of Rawalpindi, the most important city of Pakistan, has resigned from his post and handed himself over to the police, admitting to rigging the elections.

This is not a mere resignation or admission of guilt, it is a charge sheet of incompetence and negligence on the part of all govt institutions, including the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Who kept forcing the officials of the bureaucracy to do illegal work by applying pressure?
Now the nation of Pakistan is looking towards the Supreme Court of Pakistan for justice.If Rawalpindi has been rigged so much, think how widely rigged the general elections must have been in the entire country. General elections in Pakistan have become non-transparent and controversial.
The mandate of the people of Pakistan has been stolen. We demand that those who stole the nation's mandate should be held accountable.

ابھی اڈیالہ @ImranKhanPTI صاحب سے ملاقات ہوئی ہے۔ ملاقات میں سردار لطیف کھوسہ صاحب اور محمد عامر ڈوگر صاحب بھی موجود تھے۔ ماشاءاللٰہ صحت اچھی تھی اور ہشاش بشاش لگ رہے تھے۔ تقریبًا آدھا گھنٹہ ملاقات رہی۔ اپنے لیڈر سے اتنے عرصہ بعد ملا بہت اچھا لگا۔ مردان کی تاریخی جیت کا سن کر بہت خوش ہوئے۔
اڈیالہ میں میرے جیل کے دنوں کے احوال کا بھی ان کو پتہ تھا اور خوش تھے کہ آپ نے جوانمردی سے جیل کاٹی۔ پوچھا اسیری کے کتنے دن تھے ان کو بتایا 78 دن تھے۔ ڈوگر صاحب سے بھی ان کے جیل کے دنوں کا پوچھا۔ ان کی ملتان کی جیت پہ بھی بہت خوش تھے۔ سردار لطیف کھوسہ نے خان صاحب کو کہا کہ ان کی لاہور کی جیتی ہوئی سیٹ خان صاحب کی امانت ہے جس پہ خان صاحب نے کہا کہ نہیں وہ میانوالی والی سیٹ پہ آئیں گے انشاءاللٰہ
میں اپنے لیڈر کی قدر شناسی کا دل سے شکر گزار ہوں۔
قوم کے لیڈر سے قوم کے مسائل پہ تفصیلی گفتگو ہوئی۔
انہوں نے بہت سی ضروری ھدایات دی ہیں جن سے متعلق بعد میں آپ کو آگاہ کریں گے۔
سب سے بڑی بات جو خان صاحب نے کی ہے وہ یہ ہے کہ @PTIofficial اقتدار میں آکر فتح مکہ ماڈل پہ جائے گی۔
ہم کوئی سیاسی انتقام نہیں لیں گے بلکہ ملک و قوم کی ترقی کی خاطر ملک و قوم کو آگے لیکر جائیں گے۔
خان صاحب نے نیلسن منڈیلا کے ٹرتھ اینڈ ری کنسلیشن Truth & Recilliation Commission کا بھی حوالہ دیا کہ ملک کو آگے لے جانے کیلئے سچ ، معافی اور درگزر کی طرف جانا ہوگا۔ تحریک انصاف اقتدار میں آکر انتقام نہیں سیاسی استحکام و ترقی کی طرف پاکستان کو لے کر جائے گی۔
