It's absolutely mindblowing that the claim by Adrian Zenz that "80% of new IUDs in China were fitted in XJ" is still repeated by the media. It's been long debunked as a purposely misleading statistical sleight of hand.
Time for a recap #Thread

The illegality of Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank is one of the most well-established positions in international law, resting on four distinct pillars:
📜 GENEVA CONVENTIONS
Article 49(6) of the Fourth Geneva Convention (1949) explicitly prohibits an occupying power from transferring parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies. Israel ratified the Convention in 1951. The International Committee of the Red Cross, the authoritative interpreter of humanitarian law, has consistently held that this provision applies directly to the settlements.
🌐 UN SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTIONS
The Security Council has repeatedly affirmed settlement illegality — including in binding resolutions the US did not veto:
• Res. 446 (1979): settlements have "no legal validity"
• Res. 465 (1980): calls on Israel to dismantle existing settlements
• Res. 2334 (2016): passed 14-0 (US abstained), explicitly states settlements constitute "a flagrant violation of international law" and have "no legal validity"
⚖️ ICJ RULINGS
• Advisory Opinion on the Wall (2004): the Court found settlements in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, had been established in breach of international law, and that the wall built to protect them compounded that illegality
• Advisory Opinion on the Occupied Palestinian Territory (2024): the Court went further, ruling that Israel's continued presence in the OPT — including the settlement enterprise — is itself unlawful, and called on all states not to recognise or assist it
🏛️ UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Countless UNGA resolutions have reaffirmed settlement illegality, including Res. 77/247 (2023), which requested the landmark 2024 ICJ opinion.
No serious legal scholar disputes this consensus. The settlements are illegal. The only remaining question is whether the international community will act on it.
"Particularly noteworthy is the Council’s statement that it is “not obligated to prove current connections to the government of the Russian Federation” in order to sanction a person."

In 2010, Daphne Park, then Baroness Park, shortly before her death confessed MI6's role in the murder of Patrice Lumumba.
She had been MI6 station chief in the Congo at the time. It was a joint US/UK/Belgian operation to murder him.
A few weeks ago we published the first hand account of a German journalist raped in Israeli custody. She co-wrote the piece with an American journalist, who was also abused repeatedly. So Israeli prison guards will do that to Germans and Americans, but not to Palestinians?
Can't help but appreciate how difficult it is to be a mainstream Western journalist covering China. Your job is to make people hate a polite, humble, dedicated public servant who doesnt do cronyism, throw himself birthday parades, or fuck off to play golf. Propaganda on hard mode
⭕️ The Day After NYT’s Kristof Documented Systematic Israeli Rape of Detained Palestinians, CNN, AP, BBC, and NYT Gave Largely Uncritical Coverage to an Unverifiable Israeli Report
One day after New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof published a meticulously sourced investigation—drawing on 14 survivors, the UN, and several international rights groups—documenting systematic rape and sexual torture of Palestinian prisoners, the Times, along with other major media outlets, published largely uncritical coverage of a new report by the Civil Commission, an Israeli NGO claiming Hamas committed systematic sexual violence on October 7.
The underlying archive behind the Israeli report—which was covered by a wide range of outlets including the AP, CNN, BBC, and NYT—is entirely sealed. Only AP disclosed that its findings “could not be independently verified.” CNN acknowledged that it “has not been able to verify all of the contents of the archive”—though it claimed it has “seen many of the visual materials included in it.” The NYT noted the archive was closed “to protect the privacy of victims” without clarifying what that means for verification. The BBC likewise made no disclosure about whether it had reviewed or verified the sealed archive, writing only that “its evidence, which is being kept in a secure archive, may aid future prosecutions.”
Not one of the NYT, CNN, or BBC reports stated whether they had independently verified any of the report’s findings that they published in their own articles.
The report was led by Cochav Elkayam-Levy, who is both the founder and chair of the Civil Commission. She has faced serious challenges to her credibility over her previous investigations into claims of systemic sexual violence by Hamas on October 7. In 2024, Israel’s largest newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth published a damning exposé in which Israeli government officials said her “methodology was neither good nor accurate” and that “people have disassociated themselves from her because her research is inaccurate.”
Officials were particularly incensed that she spread the debunked claim—originating with Yossi Landau of ZAKA—that a pregnant woman was found with her womb cut open. “Slowly, professionals began distancing themselves from her because she was not reliable,” one Israeli official said. Elkayam-Levy even presented an old image of dead female Kurdish fighters as women sexually assaulted at the Nova music festival during a Harvard talk, in an online video shared by The Grayzone. When confronted with the error, she did not correct the record.
All four outlets also cited the 2023 UN report by Pramila Patten. The BBC described Patten’s visit to Israel, where she met with ZAKA’s Landau and other Israeli groups and officials to “receive information,” as an “investigation”—despite Patten herself explicitly rejecting that characterization and stating her mission was “neither intended nor mandated to be investigative in nature.” Patten also acknowledged her mission did not include gathering or examining “evidence.” At the same time, the outlets ignored the findings of the more authoritative UN Commission of Inquiry — the UN’s highest investigative body — as well as subsequent findings by Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International, all of which stated they were unable to verify any individual instance of rape on October 7.

An outright lie. @Intifada has never cited Shaiel Ben-Ephraim. It seems @NRO@brittybernstein will tell any lie necessary to cover up Israeli rapes of Palestinian detainees. Our reporting was based @EuroMedHR documentation/corroboration of hundreds of firsthand testimonies
Besides the fact that this "investigation" was authored by a proven fraud, Cochav Elkayam-Levy, it relies heavily on testimony from Rami Davidian, who was unmasked by Israeli media as a serial fabricator who cashed in on his lies.
The screenshot below is page 77 from the "Civil Commission" report, which is composed of recycled, already debunked testimonies. It shows how extensively the report relies on Davidian, who has admitted to fabricating the accounts he provided of sexual violence on Oct 7 to fellow charlatans like Sheryl Sandberg.
Here's how Davidian's fabrications were described by Raviv Drucker, the Israeli investigative reporter who was censored by Channel 13 follow a hysterical outcry from Zionists who feared the discrediting of their narrative:
"These are not slight exaggerations, slight inflating of the number of those rescued, absolutely not. These are stories made up from beginning to end [by Davidian]. Hair-raising stories, that never really happened. Sometimes they come at the expense of people who were actually involved in those stories. Many of the leads that have reached us, began with the pain of people who rescued, saved, came out and were shocked to hear how they disappeared from the story. Some of the stories have been quoted in a reputable film, in newspapers around the world, in an important book. In the year and a half since the October 7 attacks, Davidian has turned his stories into an industry, countless paid lectures, in Israel and abroad, fundraising campaigns that were supposedly done for him, but he disavows them, a presentation, dozens or perhaps hundreds of interviews with the media, in which he repeats over and over again stories that simply never happened."
Americans, your tax money is funding acts of genocide. Report on today’s Israeli attacks on Lebanon, which have killed 12 civilians, including two children, so far.
Also footage of bombing from close to the site of the report.

🚨BREAKING:🚨 Another massacre by Israel.
At least 8 people, including two children, were killed after three Israeli airstrikes targeted cars along the Jiyeh-Saadiyat highway (Beirut-Sidon road) today.
Not “Hezbollah targets.” Civilians, most likely displaced families moving on a main route.
Will update with confirmed names/photos of victims as they become available.
Jeg kan virkelig anbefale ‘Droner over Danmark’ (DR)
Kort sagt, så peger al fakta på at der ikke var nogen droner - udover Københavns Lufthavns radar data - som de selvfølgelig nægter at udlevere…..
@hr_noergaard I'm quite interested in this as I've been involved following the EU mistaken sightings from the start, so it's nice to see journalists uncovering the obvious failings in the narrative from incompetent security services.
🔴 Daily attacks continue across Gaza, Palestine.
Yesterday in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, an Israeli forces’ tank fired two shells near Al-Tayeb clinic, injuring at least 12 people while our medical teams were operating nearby. The impact occurred around 400 metres from the clinic.
Our teams treated all casualties from the attack, including a 6-year-old child with a severe leg injury and a pregnant woman with a chest injury. After receiving first aid and emergency treatment, all injured patients were transferred to Al-Shifa hospital for further medical care.
Since the so-called ceasefire began, Israel has killed more than 800 people and injured more than 2,000. This latest incident striking close to a medical facility shows that nowhere is safe in Gaza. We call for Israel to respect the ceasefire and to ensure the protection of civilians.
Collaboration Series : Episode one: Poland.
Part 1:
There is a particular audacity required to be both perpetrator and victim simultaneously, mourning loudly while burying the evidence of one's own crimes. The Polish government has perfected this art form over decades, constructing an elaborate mythology of pure, noble, suffering Poland: eternally besieged, never complicit, always the martyr. It is a mythology that crumbles the moment one holds it up to the light of documented history.
The time has come to shred it.
The Official Narrative and Its Convenient Omissions:
Warsaw presents a tidy story to the world. Poland was invaded by Germany from the west on September 1, 1939, and by the Soviet Union from the east on September 17. Poland suffered enormously. Six million of its citizens died. The Polish people resisted heroically. End of story. Move on. Do not look behind the curtain.
The Polish Institute of National Remembrance (IPN), that great monument to selective memory, has spent hundreds of millions of złoty producing voluminous research on Soviet crimes, on German crimes, on everyone's crimes, while dedicating comparatively meagre, reluctant, and often legally-suppressed scholarship to the crimes committed by Poles and alongside the Nazi occupier.
This is not history. This is state-funded amnesia.
The Law That Tells You Everything
In 2018, the Polish government passed the so-called "Holocaust Law," amendments to the Act on the Institute of National Remembrance, which made it a criminal offense, punishable by up to three years in prison, to publicly and falsely attribute responsibility for Nazi crimes to the Polish nation or state.
Read that again carefully.
A government so confident in the innocence of its own history that it criminalizes the debate. Scholars were threatened. Researchers self-censored. International outcry forced partial retreat, but the message had been sent with crystalline clarity: in Poland, certain historical truths are legally inconvenient.
What kind of innocent nation needs to imprison historians?
