Remember , never give Intravenous Iron Infusions in a setting where you dont have emergency services. Patients can sometimes have severe anaphylactic reactions leading to mortality. In addition, a crash cart having epinephrine IM injection is a must. In many countries its a common practice to give IV iron in clinics with no support. Additionally try using Carboxymaltose combination rather than most commonly used iron sucrose( venofer) very commonly having allergic reactions.

ABG ➡️ pH -7, HCO3 - 9 mEq/L, K-5mmol/L.

Along with other measures a decision was made for alkali therapy with sodium bicarbonate.
