@McTony_EDAY @The_SS_Teacher I think it’s important that if you don’t know, you follow up with the answer later on. It shows students to not just accept that they don’t know, but encourages them find the answer. Also it makes the student feel valued that you took the time to do something for them. #EDT370
@MissSchweda Each morning at school I greet the students at the end of the hallway, right in front of a bulliten board that is always changing. I love seeing how excited they get when they stop and see what’s new. This is a great way to engage students in new information! #EDT370
@MissSchweda@mr_strom_k8@dospil_jillian@MissJohnsClass I feel that as long as participation is optional, it could be really beneficial. You have to take into consideration that some students wouldn’t take it seriously though, which could take down the whole system. #EDT370
@mr_strom_k8@MrEngelsman Days with stations were the most memorable in my experience. It’s crazy how information sticks so much better when you’re engaged! #EDT370
@MissSchweda@JustinPippel Is this educational reading, or choice reading? I love this idea. Either way it’s a break for students, and they’re building skills while they’re at it. #EDT370
@theartofed Crystal Morey. She’s a ceramic artists that shows animals in distress from human interventions. She’s a great resource for use in education! #EDT370
@theartofed As a teacher-to-be, I haven’t gotten there yet. But a teacher I observe does a mini yoga session if she notices her elementary students getting distracted. It’s surprisingly effective! #EDT370
Just received this in a text message. Students at Forest Hills Northern High School are allowed to walk around in Black Face with no penalties and call kids nigger. I just read some posts about it and seeing these pictures...! #wzzm#woodtv8#fox17#share
What a great way to give students something to work with, yet leave room for plenty of creativity. This could be used for you ELA folks, too! #EDT370 https://t.co/Ru4ZSebSBp
@TwrightGVSU True! It's hard to depend on previous teachers to provide that foundational knowledge that students need. This is why it's so important to stick to standards and cover your ground. It's not only impacting you and your teaching, but you students and their future teachers. #EDT370
Miniature paintings are a great way to push students to think about details while not becoming overwhelmed by the size of the canvas. #EDT370 https://t.co/3fH386aveH
