आज भले ही आप शून्य में विलीन हो गए हों, लेकिन आपका मार्गदर्शन और जीवन के प्रति सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण हमारे लिए सदैव प्रेरणादायी रहेगा। कर्तव्यनिष्ठ, कुशल एवं संवेदनशील प्रशासनिक अधिकारी के रूप में आपकी अलग पहचान रही।

सेवाकाल के दौरान आपको ऊर्जा के क्षेत्र में कार्य करने के लगातार अवसर मिले। वर्ष 2003-04 में राजस्थान विद्युत विनियामक आयोग में सचिव, वर्ष 2010 से 2014 के मध्य मिनिस्ट्री ऑफ पावर में केन्द्रीय प्रतिनियुक्ति, वर्ष 2014 में प्रदेश के ऊर्जा विभाग के शासन सचिव के रूप में आपने इस क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय सेवाएं दीं।

माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री भजनलाल श��्मा के vision तथा माननीय ऊर्जा राज्यमंत्री श्री हीरालाल नागर के नेतृत्व में ऊर्जा विभाग ने अक्षय ऊर्जा एवं सौर ऊर्जा के माध्यम से Energy Transition का सफल मॉडल देश के अन्य राज्यों के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किया है, उसके जमीनी स्तर पर सुगम क्रियान्वयन, पीएम कुसु�� योजना के माध्यम से प्रदेश के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में उद्यमिता के नए युग की शुरूआत तथा पीएम सूर्यघर मुफ्त बिजली योजना में जन सहभागिता बढ़ाने, Rooftop Solar को मिशन मोड में घर-घर पहुंचाने के लिए आपने साथी अधिकारियों को सदैव प्रेरित किया।

Rockefeller Foundation तथा Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) की तकनीकी विशेषज्ञता का लाभ लेकर Energy Transition में digitisation, AI tools, data management, load-flow management जैसी पहल तकनीक को बढ़ावा देने की Alok sir की सोच का परिणाम थीं।

केन्���्रीय सार्वजनिक उपक्रमों के साथ win-win भागीदारी से भविष्य की ऊर्जा आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने, Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit में सर्वाधिक MoU होने की Energy sector को मिली सफलता में भी आपका महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा। राज्य के आर्��िक संसाधनों पर भार डाले बिना HAM Model जैसे नवाचार के माध्यम से वितरण क्षेत्र के कायाकल्प की उन्होंने संकल्पना तैयार की थी। यदि ईश्वर उनके प्रति थोड़ा और दयालु होता, तो इस मॉडल को भी वे सफल बनाने का जज्बा रखते थे।

विगत करीब दो माह से वे शारीरिक अस्वस्थता से जूझ रहे थे। इसके बाद भी उनकी प्रतिबद्धता में कोई कमी नहीं थी। अवकाश पर होने तथा असाध्य बीमारी से उपजी पीड़ा को लगातार झेलने के बावजूद प्रदेश ���े ऊर्जा क्षेत्र के लिए वे लगातार चिंतित रहते थे। परिवार के मुखिया के रूप में कार्मिकों की वाजिब समस्याओं एवं हितों के लिए उन्होंने हमेशा संवेदनशील नजरिया रखा। विद्युत निगमों में GPF कटौती प्रारंभ करने की कार्मिकों की पुरानी मांग पर उन्होंने सरकार के सामने उचित पक्ष रखा। बाहर से वे जितने सख्त दि��ाई देते थे, अन्दर से उतने ही नर्म। समस्याओं को solve करने की उनकी approach असाधारण थी।

ऐसे एक कर्मयोगी का निधन हम सभी के लिए गहरे शोक का समय है।

आप हमेशा हमारे जेहन में रहेंगे Alok sir...

दुःख की इस घड़ी में सम्पूर्ण ऊर्जा विभाग आपके परिवार को सम्बल देने के लिए तत्पर है।

राजस्थान के ऊर्जा क्षेत्र के समग्र विकास के राज्य सरकार के संकल्प को पूरा करने के लिए ईश्वर को आपको और समय देना चाहिए था।
