@twst12612648@keylimepie2000 ah cool, im at ASCO rn and early detection not mattering is not the consensus at all but good to know about your well calibrated opinion. have a great day!
@twst12612648@keylimepie2000 no time to watch a youtube video but im curious, what were the inputs to your strongly formed opinion, other than this video? and have you lost a loved one to cancer detected too late?
@twst12612648@keylimepie2000 no. the reason it’s advised against for humans is our inability to solve for bayes law. detecting cancer early is immensely valuable and by definition involves detecting it when there is no symptoms
For more than two decades, we've known that dogs can detect cancer from breath. @dognosis makes it real.

@jrgralow@EAEisenhauer@PTarantinoMD@ASCO If Sheldon has a passion for sniffing and loves food, @dognosis may be interested in recruiting him for 30mins a day. We provide handsome compensation in treats
Combining trained detection dogs indications with a Bayesian framework incorporating historical dog performance and participants features yielded 90.8% sensitivity & 91.3% specificity for multicancer detection from breath. Truly the human’s best friend! 🐶 https://t.co/YoSBWCGVWO
