the horrors ive seen in enterprise software are beyond what AGI could ever debug, we'd need to boil the oceans and sacrifice an innumerable amount of twinks to get rid of this tech debt
@webdevcody I’d just suggest to use Lazyvim as neovim “framework”, just install and have a very sensible set of defaults that allows you to spend more time coding than configuring
📚 I love component composition in React, and I think we should use it a lot more before littering our components with conditional renderings for mutually exclusive states. As a follow-up to a tweet from this week, here's the full blogpost:

After a decade of hands-on programming through dozens of projects I realised the following simple truth:
Absolutely nothing is gonna fix development (process, code, whatever) if foundation - people's attitude and genuine interest in project success - is rotten.
No any fancy agile coach or process can fix it, especially likes of SCRUM or SAFe.
And un-ironically opposite is true: great lean team of motivated engineers doesn't need any SCRUM.
Once the attitude is great and engineering culture established, it may happen that suddenly JS frameworks excite, clean code boundaries are reasonably stretched, and so on.
The @Neovim adventure continues. I'm really digging the lazyvim distro. Integrated git management? Check. Great fuzzy-searcher for files? Check. Multi-file search? Check. Tabs? Check. Sidebar? Check. And that whole THIS IS UNIX, I KNOW THIS aesthetic is ace.
@ssijak@levelsio@constantout@jamespotter Agreed, you can have a simple salad and adding 2 tablespoons of olive oil adds 200 calories, and then if you need to manually adjust most of these hidden ingredients it doesn’t really make sense as a serious tool
Did you know?
You can use Fibonacci numbers to roughly convert miles into km and viceversa.
If you need to convert from km to miles, you just need to find the preceding Fibonacci number.
Why? There are 1.609 km in a mile, very close to the Golden Ratio, derived by dividing each number of the Fibonacci series by its immediate predecessor.

$msft jumped from $360 to $376 since satya announced sam and gdb is joining microsoft.
that’s $115 billion (or 1.4 OpenAIs) worth of market cap added in the last 60 minutes.
