It is inconceivable that you claim to be tackling local violence whilst having nil focus on the exploited YP.

Exploited YP are dying violent deaths/accruing convictions for violence on your patch.

As a child in care, I didn't go to school. I was expelled at 12 years old, and that was that. I walked the streets with other boys from the same background. Nobody cared. Nobody came looking. Times were very different, but nothing has changed. It's still happening. I was forced into a gang, and that became my education. I was lucky to go back to school just in time to realise how important education was and still is for young people with care experience. Thanks to that one teacher who understood me and who went that extra mile to help me. Mr Jackson, you will forever be my hero. #changeiscoming
