Target Markets / accommodations

Am for example am not a target market for the lodges where I am the chief servant.

When I travel, I will look for usd 80 for a room or even look for Airbnb even cheaper.

USD 1500 a night like for Mwamba lodge Tarangire you see below, while I can charge that, I won’t pay same prices.

Why? While investing people have target market in their mind and that will determine where you look for land, interior Desginer, builder, management etc.

But when I visit Dubai for example, I don’t go around asking why some hotels charge usd 5000 a night. No I don’t.

If I want to learn, I visit and have a meal, talk to management etc or even ask to see the rooms.

Countries need to cater for all types of clients, so far uganda caters for only low end clientele and miss out on those who can spend more.

We need rooms for usd 10k a night to usd 100k even. Why not?

Less than 5% of all rooms available in uganda cost more than usd 80 a night and you get what you pay for.

Like kasese, from ushs 20k to usd 2400 you can get but 90% are usd 100 and less
