Monetarily speaking, I think there’s still room for indie devs and app making. It might be shortening quickly, but economy’s innate inertia and general commodism of just having someone think through your own problem better than you did and paying for their solution it’s not someone that’s going away easily.

That said, totally agreed that frontier labs might still grow A LOT as they are in the absolute best position to start monetizing on that. As AI gets increasingly capable not just of turning low level problems into low level solutions but now turning high level problems as well into low level might carry that compound effect.

As solo preneus and technologists we have and always will have the advantage to still tackle the next wave of problems and monetize on that, as per the first point mentioned.
If your individual apps do solve the problem you have better than anything and you can frame precisely what that problem is then absolutely try to sell it. As creation gets commoditized, distribution is now much much more important though

@jjacky brother it’s a router, so I think reliability (day zero api support), (no) performance overhead and price (markup) gets you 99.9% of the way, then you might pivot slowly into observability
