How do endosomes get their shape? Endosome morphology is not an spontaneous outcome of trafficking. Using CLEM and Airyscan microscopy, our research shows that Arp2/3-mediated F-actin assembly is crucial in shaping endosome morphology and promoting vesicular traffic. #teamtomo
New preprint alert!
Alejandro Melero @ameleroc with help from O. Muriel and @BasanteBedoya shows that Arp2/3-dependent actin assembly shapes endosomes and promotes intracellular trafficking in fission yeast, despite absence of known regulators
