I don’t see where Zelenskyy was “disrespectful” here? He was just making his point. If anyone was disrespectful it was Vance. This is classic reverse psychology- be disrespectful but call the other party disrespectful to stir emotions in the American people even though there wasn’t any disrespect. It’s what charlatans do, and the US administration is better than that.

No. I think the best argument against moral equivalency is that denying that one culture is better than another entails denying that the future state of one's own culture can be better than the present. It denies the possibility of progress, is hostile to it, and sides with evil.

The second reason is mistaken. The distinction between AGI and humans is not the same as between humans and animals. We have creativity and are universal explainers and so will AGI. Animals don’t. There is objective morality and if Aliens have the technology to come see us we know they have the process of knowledge creation (conjecture and refutation). They will apply the same process to their knowledge of morality and come closer to our morality. Of course there will be universes where this isn’t true but in the vast majority of them it will be.
