In a randomized trial involving patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, pulsed field ablation was noninferior to thermal ablation with respect to freedom from a composite of procedural and arrhythmia events at 1 year.

@AveragingBogey I don’t interrupt DOAC for all ablations and always give at least a bolus of IV heparin for all my right sided ablations. Thrombosis/PE is a known complication of any venous access and little down side to heparin in my experience.
