I had the privilege of speaking with Rev Lebaredian, Vice President of Omniverse and Simulation Technology at NVIDIA, about his incredible journey and the groundbreaking work happening at NVIDIA.

Rev shared how he went from not wanting to manage people to becoming one of the key people in the organisation, leading the innovation that powers NVIDIA Omniverse. "We took a big hit because CUDA didn’t help us with our core business up until fairly recently," he explained, reflecting on their early challenges. But through it all, his team has pioneered transformative technologies like large-scale automated testing, real-time physics simulation, and in-game photography.

Rev's belief in "exponential increases in computing capabilities" as a fundamental driver of innovation has shaped the future of virtual worlds. NVIDIA Omniverse, the platform Rev and his team have developed, combines AI, real-time rendering, and physics simulation into one powerful tool, revolutionising industries like architecture, entertainment, and robotics.
