Elon’s advice to 20-year-olds on surviving the AI era:
Get as broad-based an education as possible: arts, sciences, engineering, and wide general knowledge.
Why?
AI and robots will fulfill almost any request immediately. The edge won’t be doing the work. It will be knowing what to ask for. The broader your knowledge, the better your questions.

Neuroplasticity isn’t just about complex skills or learning new languages. The fastest way to spark cognitive flexibility is injecting tiny friction into daily, automatic habits.
Every glib, arrogant, virtue-signalling celebrity who’s broadcast the lie that kids will kill themselves if not allowed to transition deserves to have this read aloud to them non-stop through a megaphone for a year.
We should probably get ready for fully offline life. Save important files locally. Write down addresses of people you might want to visit. Buy a road atlas.
In ye olden days, a significantly greater percentage of people were tinkerers.
Tinkering (mechanically and otherwise) is just part of living life for a farmer, and back then most people were either farmers or one generation removed from the farm.
Historian Jared Diamond explains why early Christians outbred pagans in the Roman Empire
DIAMOND: "There were many things that propelled Christianity. This gets interesting.
The Christians outbred pagans in the first couple of centuries of the Roman Empire because Roman religion had a low view of women.
Children did not have a high prestige. There was frequent abortion, whereas early Christianity did give a high role to women compared to Roman religion. Christianity favored having babies.
Christianity emphasized taking care of the sick. And so when you look at tombstones from the first couple of centuries of the Roman Empire, Christians lived longer and they were less likely to die than were pagans. And the result was that Christianity, that started out as maybe a few dozen people under Jesus and even in St. Paul's time, what, maybe 100 people, Christianity grew to be the numerically dominant religion of the Roman Empire.
On top of that, Christianity derived from Judaism, emphasized writing. And so when Constantine needed bureaucrats for his empire, there were all of these literate Christians and the pagans were not literate. So Christianity had reasons for its success that would, with due respect, have nothing to do with the virgin birth."
This will be one of the most impactful technologies ever developed. It will eventually allow instantaneous and secure communication across vast distances. Sci-fi type stuff.
🚨Karmelo Anthony Update - Prosecution - “A lot of people have asked why Karmelo Anthony took a knife to a track meet?” “those reason were captured in our 404 motion”
On the morning that Karmelo stabbed Austin, Karmelo’s ex girlfriend went to the assistant principal saying she “broke up with Karmelo and he was stalking her”
A text is then shown from Anthony that says “I’m lowkey on the verge” the morning of the stabbing and emphasized it.
He also threatened her with a knife in one message and told her in another text "when I stab somebody I'm gonna lick their blood off the blade".
I warned a long time ago that they did not want to open up Karmelo’s history. But this is what you pushed for.
And I know from MY MULTIPLE sources that there is SO much more. Behavior.. AND texts on his phone that go back for years.
After decades of minimalism and deconstructivism, I am so ready for a new American aesthetic - classical-futurism.
Starbase Prometheus is a start, but how about interiors? It’s time to reclaim the classical ideals of proportion, beauty, the idealized human form, mythic narrative, and a sense of ordered grandeur while fully embracing the tools, materials, and outlook of the present and near future
Young Christian men: start building businesses now. Start the exact ones these firms are buying (they already did your market research for you). They only buy what a town can't live without:
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Welding and fab
- Small engine repair
- Excavation
- Meat processing
- Honest bookkeeping
And everything they buy gets worse before it dies completely. Slower service, junk parts, higher prices. A solid, independent man with his name on the truck and a solid church behind him will eat their lunch.
Three rules to keep your town from being next.
1. Build it to keep it. If you're building to cash out someday, it's already theirs. Put your plans in writing, with papers that keep the business in the family and out of their hands.
2. Raise up your replacement. Sons in the shop at twelve. Real work, real wages, taught that the business is an inheritance and not just dad's job. JOANN didn't die at the bank. It died at the dinner table a generation earlier.
3. Stick together. One shop is a business. Twelve shops that hire each other, bank together, and train each other's sons are an economy. PE firms can buy a company. They can't buy a town that won't sell.
Over the next 10-15 years we'll all get to watch as these firms tear down the old world. This is your window to build. Start a shop at 25, and you will own your town's infrastructure at 40 - just when the husk of the competition finally falls over.
Build the businesses that will power your local community for the next hundred years.
Children who never experience confusion never develop the pattern-recognition to find clarity. The goal isn't zero suffering, it's calibrated suffering at the right doses so their system builds immunity instead of fragility
Absolutely incredible…
University of California professors are now asking the school to reinstate the SAT for admissions because their new students are unable to do high school-level work.
They stopped using standardized tests for admissions in 2020 to promote "equity".

His warning is worth a listen:
So what if a Muslim wins an election in America and becomes a congressman or senator? Why is that any different from an Italian winning an election?
Let me tell you.
An Italian has a national identity, Italian, that is tied to a defined territory: the borders of Italy.
He may celebrate Italian holidays, follow Italian politics, send money home, or even dream of returning one day. None of this is inherently antithetical to the American nation-state.
The Italian American immigrant does not believe Ohio is part of Italy. His attachment is territorial. It is confined to a nation whose boundaries are recognized by everyone, including himself.
Islam presents something fundamentally different.
Islam is not merely a religion practiced by people from many nations. Muslims belong to a single civilization that transcends every nation.
A Muslim may be Egyptian, Pakistani, Nigerian, Bosnian, or Indonesian, but he belongs to something larger than the nation-state: the ummah.
The ummah is not a country with fixed borders. Its political horizon encompasses the entire world.
That is why Muslims repeatedly say that Islam will enter every home.
The ummah is not Italy. It has no border because it is the entire world.
This transnational identity is fundamentally antithetical to the American national sovereignty.
An Italian American may work to advance Italian causes, but those causes remain bounded by Italy.
A Jewish American may work to advance Israel’s interests, but those interests remain tied to a particular state with defined borders.
No Italian wants Italy to govern America. No Jew wants Israel to govern America. Muslims want Islam to rule America.
Islam is a state being presented to Americans as a religion, and Americans are electing Islamic politicians to rule them without realizing that they are electing citizens of another country whose priorities will never be American.
Update: This "Super El Niño" will be perhaps the strongest in 500 to 1000 years, and could legitimately be the most extreme global weather or climate event experienced by humanity since the invention of the printing press. Only more extreme situation is a volcanic winter.
