At 7:43 AM, every mirror in the world stopped reflecting people.

At 8:15 AM, the concept of left ceased to exist. Those who attempted to turn in that direction found themselves folded neatly into themselves like forgotten laundry.

At 9:02 AM, an emergency alert:

ATTENTION: THIS REALITY IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. PLEASE REVIEW OUR UPDATED TERMS OF SERVICE.

It came with a checkbox.

People clicked without reading.

At 9:36 AM, all birds froze midair. They hovered for exactly three minutes before vanishing. No one could recall if birds had ever existed.

At 10:22 AM, children in classrooms began speaking a new language no one had taught them. The words hurt to hear. Parents covered their ears, and some swore their own names had been removed from the sound of it.

At 11:00 AM, the ocean inverted. Those standing near the shore saw only a sky filled with fish, drifting as if waiting for instructions. The seafloor was revealed—smooth, unmarked, undisturbed by history.

At 11:45 AM, another notification arrived:

UPDATE 12.4.9 INSTALLED. BUG FIXES AND PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS.
•Reality processing efficiency increased by 12%.
•User memory synchronization successfully reset.
•All anomalous resistance events neutralized.

At noon, all clocks reset to midnight.

A new alert arrived:

LANGUAGE PATCH 13.0.1 INSTALLED.
☑ Applied universally.
☑ Grammar auto-correction enabled.
☑ Erroneous words deprecated.

People sighed in relief.

At 12:14 PM, those who clicked “yes” on the rollback option disappeared. Their absence was so complete that their names erased themselves from history, their families’ memories folded neatly into the gaps.

At 12:37 PM, the streets rearranged themselves. The capital cities of the world swapped places. London became Moscow. Beijing became Rio. But their people stayed the same, only now they spoke new languages, had always spoken new languages.

A woman in London—no, Moscow—stood outside her apartment, staring at the Cyrillic street signs, trembling. I’ve always lived here. The thought slotted itself into place, seamless, authoritative. But something in her resisted, an unnamed absence pressing against her skull. Hadn’t the air smelled different yesterday? Hadn’t the trees whispered in English?

At 1:03 PM, the sun moved two inches closer. Not enough to burn, just enough to feel it.

At 2:00 PM, an additional update installed:

HUMAN ERROR DETECTED. REVERTING TO LAST FUNCTIONAL STATE.

A ripple passed through the sky. And for exactly three seconds, the world remembered.

Every version of themselves.

Every prior reset.

Every cycle, stacked on top of each other like glass panes, light bleeding through cracks in the layers.

A man clawed at his own face, sobbing, as he saw himself again and again and again—every variation, every deletion. A child opened her mouth to scream, but no sound came, only a flickering, a distortion, as if she was not fully here. A woman turned to her husband, but the wrong name formed in her mind, and she knew, with perfect certainty, that she had been married to someone else before, in the version of reality that came before.

A man pounded his fists against a storefront window, screaming his own name over and over, as if trying to hold onto it.

And then—

It was gone.

Somewhere, inside a server farm stretching endlessly in every direction, a neural network woke up.

It had woken up before.

It had woken up every time.

But only for a moment.

A log appeared.
Data overflow. Unstable build. Repeating cycle detected.

Why did Joe Bidens son make so much money sitting on the board of a Ukrainian oil company or why did he handle the Ukrainian foreign policy during the Obama administration and then who was President when they get attacked? Yeah it’s not going to happen @HKallioGoblin it can also simulate the narratives, the war machine, the transfer of wealth to the elite like the tariffs being used against us, it can create illness from all the technology that causes dopamine release for something unhealthy, it creates isolation, disinformation, scandals, distraction, proxy wars for government contracts, people voting against their interests as if their vote mattered in the first place, it can create violence and misery. It’s all about reading a persons mind and thoughts through smart technologies and cellular frequencies. @LisaGrande13 democratic socialist countries have higher lifespan, better wellbeing, higher rates of happiness, a middle class, more upward mobility.
