Written admission of "significant disappointment," zero action. 📜🛑
When confronted on Google Reviews, StayVista at Kuhu Natures Resort officially acknowledged our concerns regarding:
1️⃣ Hygiene issues
2️⃣ Misleading visuals
3️⃣ Overall maintenance concerns
Yet, behind closed doors, @makemytrip and @stayvista offer nothing but canned apologies and radio silence. A copy-pasted "we regret that our property did not meet your expectations" is NOT accountability—it’s a PR shield to avoid refunding customers for unsafe and unhygienic conditions.
If you acknowledge the failure in writing, step up and fix it. Real accountability means action, refunds, and fixing safety hazards, not automated boilerplate replies.

@divyanshtalwar@makemytrip@ixigo Each one of them is just passing the buck and deflecting the blame and fleecing the consumers. These apps should be banned by the authorities boycotted by masses if tourism in India is to be saved .@goacm@makemytrip@ixigo @ministryoftourism #consumerrights
A WARNING TO EVERY INDIAN TRAVELER: HOW @MakeMyTrip & @stayvista TRAP CONSUMERS & ERASE ACCOUNTABILITY.
A 17-guest family group (including 5 children) booked 7 cottages at StayVista at Kuhu Natures Resort, Goa (Aug 26–29, 2026 via @MakeMyTrip & @ixigo) for ₹1,10,883.72.
What we encountered was a hazardous nightmare:
Hygiene defects & severe insect bites on children within minutes.
Compromised female privacy in open-air cottage washrooms.
Unsafe pathways: Severe algae buildup caused a guest to slip & suffer a physical injury during inspection.
Total misrepresentation: Listing images wildly diverged from reality.
WE REFUSED TO CHECK IN BECAUSE OF THE WORSE CONDITION OF RESORT. WE DID NOT OCCUPY A SINGLE ROOM.
THE CORPORATE CIRCULAR TRAP:
• @stayvista (Founders @amit_damani, @ankitasheth, Pranav Maheshwari) denied our refund, admitting to cleaning pathways ONLY AFTER the injury, while deflecting financial refund processing back to MakeMyTrip.
• @MakeMyTrip (@rajeshmagow, Deep Kalra) has ghosted us since Aug 26. Zero support via IVR, broken chat systems, blocking agent access, and failing to generate even a basic Complaint Ticket Number after multiple formal emails.
When an OTA blocks communication channels while the property hides behind post-injury remediation, it stops being a customer service failure—it becomes an orchestrated system of consumer abuse.
THIS IS A CASE STUDY IN CORPORATE DEFLECTION AND CONSUMER RIGHTS.
We have formally escalated this complete record to:
• Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India (@tourismofindia / @moca_goi)
• Directorate of Tourism, Govt of Goa (@TourismGoa)
• National Consumer Helpline & Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (@ConsumerServices / @jagrithigrahak)
• Central Consumer Protection Authority (@CCPA_GoI)
WE DEMAND:
- Immediate 100% full refund of ₹1,10,883.72 across all 7 bookings.
- Statutory compensation for personal injury, mental harassment, and emergency alternate accommodation costs.
- CCPA & Ministry audit into @MakeMyTrip’s deliberate grievance-blocking mechanisms and non-responsive support channels.
The common consumer is not a hostage to your corporate ping-pong. Retweet until systemic accountability is served.
