We are asking @Airbnb to review a guest review we believe is retaliatory. The guest stayed the full reservation, raised the issue only after checkout, and a licensed inspection found no evidence supporting the claim. We provided documentation and want a fair review.
Hey @AirbnbHelp — submitted 2 detailed review appeals (w/evidence) re: guest Michele (HMFHKH59KX). Guest made serious claims never raised during the stay — violating Airbnb’s own Review Policy (Help Article 248). Denied with copy-paste replies and no explanation.
It is sad and shameful that Airbnb allows guest reviews filled with falsehoods to be published even after the super host has furnished evidence for review removal. It feels review rebuttals are handled by AI bots and no common sense exists anymore.

Guest brought extra guests to 3rd party stay, smoked at our non smoking house, has minor damages, never arrived, stating, “I’ll wait for my refund to give it a 5-star review”. submitted retaliatory review 15 minutes after our money claim. Airbnb declined removal below @airbnbhelp

@AirbnbHelp Even @airbnb ambassadors agree the review should be removed but their new unhelpful ai removal request form is taking hours for this clear violation of their review policy to be taken down
@AirbnbHelp@Airbnb has anew review removal system. We had a guest through them who smoked a shisha and burnt our dining chairs. We followed Airbnbs advice and the guest booking was cancelled by them. He then left us a 1 star review which they have refused to remove!!?

The new review removal form doesn't work. We are now for a 2nd time
Can we, as hosts of the platform that changed the #STR space, ask you to please revert the Airbnb review protocol?
It seems the new "streamlined version" is just a bunch of bots who don't read or care about documentation that shows flagrant policy violations by a guest yet declined in a matter of minutes. Of course, an extensive investigation has been done...

We love hosting and work hard to give great experiences. We just want Airbnb to uphold the policies they ask us to follow. Please escalate this to a team member who will actually review the case. @Airbnb

✅ Positive 5-star reviews before/after the stay
✅ 4.96 rating, 200+ reviews, Guest Favorite, Top 10% status
Still no one will look at it or respond meaningfully.
