Il referendum sul divorzio del 1974 rappresenta uno dei passaggi più importanti della storia repubblicana italiana. Per la prima volta, attraverso lo strumento referendario, il Paese fu chiamato a pronunciarsi su una questione che intreccia diritti civili, cultura politica, ruolo della Chiesa e trasformazioni sociali profonde. Il voto del 12 e 13 maggio 1974 segna una svolta storica. Quasi il 60% degli italiani respinse l’abrogazione della legge sul divorzio. Fu una vittoria del fronte laico e progressista, ma soprattutto il segnale di un Paese profondamente cambiato rispetto al passato.

Through her writing, her speeches, and her organizing, she demanded that the world pay attention to all the ways that women had been — and in some cases, still are — treated unfairly. And she helped awaken us to problems like domestic violence, the lack of affordable child care, and unfair hiring practices that had too often been ignored or overlooked.

Gloria really was larger than life. Today, generations of women are walking a little taller and aiming a little higher because of what she fought for and achieved. Michelle and I are thinking of her family today, and everyone — women and men — who were inspired by her towering example.

Bisogna garantire il personale necessario ad assicurare prevenzione, assistenza e cura con assunzioni a tempo indeterminato. I Medici di Medicina Generale e i Pediatri di Libera Scelta devono progressivamente passare dall’attuale rapporto convenzionale alle dipendenze del Servizio Sanitario Nazionale.
La spesa per il personale del Servizio Sanitario Nazionale non deve più essere soggetta ad alcun tetto, e devono essere introdotti limiti alle esternalizzazioni.

Rendiamo effettivo il diritto alla tutela della salute nel rispetto della Costituzione e della Legge 833/1978, rafforzando il Servizio Sanitario Nazionale e valorizzando il lavoro.
