@Figure_robot Not my type of humor. If we are planing to bring those dudes home, even machines... i idk if that are going to be the proper way to address a "upgrade". Bad taste ad IMO.
Starship transiting the Sun this morning during Flight 14 — prior to this morning's mission, this has never been captured before with the world's largest and most powerful rocket.
I’ve ached over this shot for years, mainly for two reasons: what does methane exhaust look like silhouetted against the Sun, and how violent are the acoustic energy waves from 33 Raptor engines on the Super Heavy booster?
Well...now we have an answer.

@NASAAdmin@SpaceX@NASA Today was a big step forward in human capability, with the first 100% reusable orbital spaceflight. Starship is now a true spaceship.
Congratulations to the whole @SpaceX team, boldly onwards to safe capture and proven reuse, asap.
DuckTales premiered 39 years ago today.
I loved that show. Not for the gold. For the idea that adventure meant going somewhere wild with people you love.
It was Indiana Jones for kids.
Nobody's making the movie, so I made the trailer. Sound on. 🦆
Last night I captured over 60k photos of the largest supermoon of the year using two telescopes to reveal the hidden color in 119 megapixels. I call the print "Artemis Beckons", after the next crewed lunar mission.
See the reply for the up close details and explanation 👇
The same side of the Moon always faces Earth, but not in exactly the same way. Due to its tilted axis and elliptical orbit, we see about 59% of its surface over time. This simulation compresses a year into 60 seconds, making the Moon's wobble, called libration, visible.
